Mexicano padel: the next round follows the leaderboard
Mexicano reseeds as you go. After each completed round the standings decide who plays whom, so games tighten up and similar-level players meet.
When Mexicano fits
It rewards a group that wants closer matches as the night goes on. It works well when players are roughly known to each other and the host is happy to finish each round before the next is drawn.
How it works in Pablo Padel
Round one is generated from the roster. Later courts are ranked and generated after each completed round, using standings, how many times players have played, and earlier partners and opponents.
Each Mexicano match awards exactly the points-per-match total between the two teams, so a 24-point setting means every match splits 24 points. Points are individual and ranked first, then wins, then difference.
What Pablo does
Standings-driven draws
The next round is built from the live standings, not from a fixed schedule.
Fixed point pool
Every match distributes exactly the total you set, so scores always add up.
Sit-outs handled
With more players than court spots, players who have played fewer rounds are prioritised.
You set the length
Choose rounds, courts and points per match when creating the event.
| Rank | Player | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Layla | 16 |
| 2 | Omar | 16 |
| 3 | Sara | 14 |
| 4 | Khalid | 14 |
| 5 | Noor | 10 |
| 6 | Yusuf | 10 |
| 7 | Hana | 8 |
| 8 | Rami | 8 |
Round two is then generated from standings like these. The exact pairings come from the generator and are not shown here.
Questions
Why do I have to finish a round first?
Because the next round uses the standings, the previous round has to be complete.

It is different. Americano rotates partners, Mexicano matches by standing. Pick the one your group prefers.
How many players are needed?
At least four, and four per court you request.
Can I run it as a guest?
Yes. Guest events can be created without an account.
Ready for your next game night?
Set up players, courts and scoring in a few steps. Start as a guest and save your history later.
