Americano padel: partners rotate, every point counts

Americano is the social padel format. You play with a different partner each round and your own points add up across the night, so a weak first game never rules you out.

When Americano is the right call

It suits mixed-level groups, Friday-night crews and club socials in Dubai or Abu Dhabi where nobody wants a fixed team. Partners rotate across your chosen rounds; if court space is limited, some players sit out. One table shows who finished on top.

How it works in Pablo Padel

Add at least four players, choose the number of rounds, courts and points per match. Pablo generates the fixtures with partners rotating. Saved match scores must be whole numbers that add up to the configured points-per-match total: for example, 15–9 for 24 points. Each player collects their team’s score from every completed match.

The leaderboard sorts by points, wins, point difference, points scored, then player name.

What Pablo does

Rotating partners

Rounds are generated so partners do not repeat. Pablo will not schedule more rounds than a roster can play without repeating a partner.

Individual points

Your points are the scores of your teams, summed across completed matches.

Configurable scoring

Set points per match, rounds and available courts. Courts cannot exceed one per four players.

Questions

How many players do I need?

At least four. Pablo needs enough players to fill every court you request, which is four players per court.

Can I change the scoring?

Yes. Points per match, number of rounds and courts are settings when you create the event.

Do I need an account?

No. You can start as a guest and sign up later to save your history.

Do scores update live on other phones?

Pablo does not promise real-time sync across devices. Treat the host as the scorekeeper.

Ready for your next game night?

Set up players, courts and scoring in a few steps. Start as a guest and save your history later.
